New! Online career information for bioprocessing professionals

bioProcessUK is very pleased to announce the launch of a new section of the bioProcessUK website – the Career section. This is the first career resource dedicated to students and professionals in the bioprocessing sector.

The career portal contains four main sections: Resources, Training, Jobs and Events (see Fig.1 below for layout of bioProcessUK career portal). bioProcessUK has compiled Resources on career advice, recruitment tips, various reports and analysis on skills and education. In Training, you will find the courses available (undergraduate, Msc and PhD), post-doc research grants and PhD studentships, Continuing Education Programmes, as well as industrial training programmes such as the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). Jobs for entry level positions and experienced hires in both academia and industry will be posted on a regular basis. Information on work permit issues for international students is provided in the Jobs section. You will also find detailed information of our bioProcessUK career focussed Events: Career Opportunity Workshops and Annual bioProcessUK conference bursary awards.

To view the new Career section please visit www.bioprocessuk.org and click the website image. Then use the yellow navigation bar and select Career.

We are aiming to provide an online platform to engage emerging bioprocessing professionals with the bioprocessing industry, raise the awareness of industrial training programmes, and promote existing career opportunities in the sector.

For further information on the career portal, please contact Meng Xu. If you have career events or jobs to advertise, please contact Victoria Ashton.
